Getting to Know You

I became a member of Wealthy Affiliate on July 7th and went premium on the 12th. There have been so many wonderful people to network and connect with. I am truly happy that Kyle and Carson has this vision. As a new member and some long-time members as well while looking at your profiles I noticed too many nearly empty "Profile" pages.

Why It is Important ?

Taking full advantage of the wonderful community is vital to your success. Let's be honest most of our co-workers, friends and family members have little knowledge of the kind of work we are doing. Sure they want the best for us, but if it sounds too challenging will only offer advice in traditional employment. This takes away from the energy and support team you need to stay focused. We will all would like to help anyone we can along the way. If we don't know who you are how can we help ?

What Drives You ?

When doing your "About Me" give us some of your history both personal and professional. Let us know why you are on this journey. Then let us know why it is so very important that you succeed. This has a dual benefit

1. It reinforces the importance of accomplishing your goals by writing out what you intend to do.

2. It allows those visiting your page to see that you are serious and intend to be active with WA for a while.

The driving force can be a number of things freedom, financial security, more time to travel a promise you made to yourself etc.

How This Effects Your Writing

Simple who can tell your story better than you ? It also gets you in the writing state of mind for blogging. You need to be comfortable with putting experiences into your own words. Type how you would generally speak. Eventually you will find your groove. We are all here to build websites and whether you have before or not writing is necessary. Say what you want , why you want it and how you plan to get it.

Setting the Platform

By expressing your aspirations to us you increase your importance to us. So when you have a new website completed and ask for feedback through a blog we will read your new information with enthusiasm. We are a community that wants to help others as they help us achieve our dreams. When we comment on your new pages it also causes Google to push your website higher in the rankings making it easier for the general public to locate you.

The Payoff

Imagine how important you will appear to the public when they read your page and see how many people are actively engaging in conversations with you. That does the number one thing for your business it "builds trust" with your guests. That immediately makes you an authority to them and will improve your conversions dramatically.
