Ranking status inside WA
So, I've discovered that if you slack off on participation with others inside WA your rank climbs. When the changes happened a few weeks back my ranking flew up into the stratosphere. It took a while to bring it back down. But then I got busy with life outside of WA and my site and it went back up.
Other than ambassadorship, I'm not really sure why it matters. But I don't want it to be high. So, if you don't either, keep participating inside the classes and the site. Answer questions, chat, do the classes, like what others write, and follow people.

You essentially have it figured out. Just realize that regardless of your rank, here, it does not increase any earnings you create from your website.
I do the things that evidently affect the ranking because it seems to be the right thing to do within WA. I have learned so much just reading ALL of these posts, and punching that LIKE button is easy. Replying takes a bit longer, but it gives me a chance to throw my $.02 in. I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter why we do these things, as long as we interact and learn.
Yes, ranking status in WA is like a roller coaster, but you have just stay focus in your goals.

Mine got to where it is from writing blog posts for my issues to get help, while I worked on my website. In turn they helped many members. I wasn't expecting to become an Ambassador I was only here for 3 months back then!
When the changes happened I was at #9 and it didn't change.
#9 then dropped and I'm not writing as many blog posts but when I do, it's still for issues and milestone successes.
My priority is my website, it comes first.
