No 'Edit with Elementor' button?

Hi all,
So another question regarding elementor. Help is very much needed.
The 'Edit with Elementor' button isn't on my topside tool bar in wordpress like it's supposed to show up. It's almost impossble to navigate around my website to desgin it without this feature. I googled it and other people seem to have this issue also.

Has anyone on here encountered this problem with this plug in?
Also does anyone have any different recommendations for other plug ins to use? I really like the concept of Elementor but this one problem really messes with my work.
