Can Canadian Amazon sell in the US?

Hi all,

It's been a little over 5 days since I started adding Amazon affiliate links on my blog.

I haven't gotten accepted into any other affiliate marketing companies so Amazon is the only way I can promote products as of right now.

Does anyone know if people in the US are able to buy things from my Canadian Amazon affiliate links?

I just want to know so I have maximum potential to sell to as many people as I possibly can.

I'm really hoping I can somehow generate more traffic so I can get accepted into more companies, because it's honestly bumming me out that I can only rely on Amazon right now.

Over and out.

Hey there, I hope you are well. I am in the same boat as you in a way and I talked a little bit about what we face here: I hope it is helpful to you!

Got it, thank you :)

Hi Emily,
They can, but US buyer will benefit from US amazon shop more. But that's not an issue for you. You just need to sign up with amazon.com and then link it together with your amazon.ca account (amazon.ca being main one for you).

Here is a post from fellow member explaining how it works: All the best

So I'm following along but some of this advice isn't making sense :(
There's no 'tools' under the tools menu in amazon associates nor is there a spot to link all of the associate ID's together.

I'm super lost.

Hi Emily,
for me it looks like this (see attached screenshot)
1st ''Link Your Accounts" is where I added my other store ID's and verified them.
2nd is "OneLink" where you can select which one of locations will be your main, and then copy script that needs to be placed in your websites footer so that users clicking amazon links gets redirected to nearest store.

Hope this helps.

I figured it out!

I guess you can't access these settings through the Canadian version so I switched to my American account and it worked :)

Thank you so much!!
