Creating My Own Book
I have always dreamed of writing an ebook or articles about the many hunting trips I have taken with my husband over the years.
To me the stories are very interesting, however, I'm not sure how to approach writing an ebook. I'm not sure anyone would even be interested in my excursions.
I always kept a journal of the trips so it would be very easy for me to put them on the computer. So far I have started putting one of the trips on the computer and I added some facts about the areas we visited while on our way to the hunting site, just to fill in some interesting facts. Most of the time we drove from PA to different provinces in Canada.
I have also chosen a name for the book. "The MisAdventures of Maggie Lanere."
I would like if you all would give me some ideas on how I can approach this or if I should abandon the idea. Perhaps no one would even be interested in what I did or the scary episodes I had while hunting moose & elk in Canada.

When I tried to get work published it was hard dealing with publishers or else vanity publish at big expense. No excuse now. Write it and get it on Amazon. No cost except your time. No stock to hold. Just do it and enjoy. Regards Chris
Hi Eve, I would love to hear more about this as it progresses. I've been considering writing an E-book because I've seen some poor quality out there. I think you should go for it, I mean there's not much to lose. I wish you the best of luck, keep us all updated.
I think the idea about writing a book, in any form, about the hunting trips, whether successful or not, from the mind (and I assume heart) of someone who goes on these trips, simply for the main reason of being with the one they love would be a great idea!
The very act of going hunting, with all of the deprivations that takes will be interesting.

My husband has published 2 ebooks on Amazon/Kindle, it is simple and he does get paid.
