SSL & CSR, Do We Really Need Them?

Thus far I am proud of my progress. I have more traffic visiting my website than I ever thought would be. However, the process has been long with lots of details, details which I am still learning about such as currency switching, pay gateway, targeted countries and regions, shipping regions and tax rates. Although I have generated traffic with approximately 14 new visitors a day on my site, I have earned no revenue. So what am I doing wrong? Could it be the lack of an SSL and CSR? Do we really need them? Could this be the difference between making money or not? If I need an SSL what assurance level should I purchase, low, medium, high or does it matter as long as I have one? My site is a Storefront WooCommerce Theme. The site is girlsbasketballstore.com, please visit. Any and all help will be greatly appreciate including comments and suggestions.

Thank you in advance

If it is hosted here that is taken care of for you. If not you can get buy without it if you are using a payment processor to process payments as they will have it but today it is getting more and more important to have it.

My domain name was purchased through Namecheap. I understand that I would have to go through them for an SSL. But do you think this is part of the reason I am not generating any revenue? Also I have found SSL’s through namecheap for as little as $9.00 however it is of low assurance. I have seen the medium assurance for $29.00. Is the medium assirance a better SSL or could I go with a lower assurance an be ok? I am new to all this and want to make the best choice possible to avoid extra cost and having to redo things. Thanks for your input. It really means a lot to me.
