overwhelmed help please

I am having a heck of a time trying to put images on my site..I have watched the video in certification but I am still not grasping things. Also I am having a hard time finding pictures. I do well with the video's is there any other walk threw videos about putting images and changing your website layout. for example i want to put a picture in my header and cannot figure out how to do it.

You should be using the SiteContent Image platform to add images onto your website. Using the siteContent Image Editor You have access to over 1 MILLION images within SiteContent images that you can leverage on your website as well, so there will be no shortage of images or having to hunt around the internet to find the perfect image.
As for adding an image to your header, you will usually be able to do this within your Theme customization.
You can do this within Appearance => Themes and then go to Customize under your particular theme you are using and you should see an option for updating the header there.
