A Healthy Body begins with a Healthy Mind
This statement is expressed by an author in one of his books. It reads,
“The body is the servant of the mind. It obeys the operations of the mind, whether they be deliberately chosen or automatically expressed.”

This show us that it is important for us to maintain a healthy outlook on life in order to maximize our physical health. We do not have to live 'under the circumstances', we can choose to rise above where we are in our health or otherwise, by deliberately making a decision to take action to improve them.
The statement, "as a man thinketh" is also expressed in Proverbs 23:7.
