Overcoming fear
So I joined WA one year ago full of passion and dedication. The following few weeks were really enjoyable - learning and meeting new people. Things I love to do! I got engaged Valentine's weekend 2016, and for some reason, I just stopped working on everything here. I had developed a brand for my website and continued to tweet under that identity, but I stopped creating content. I got an occasional email saying there was a comment on my website and the few friends I had told wanted to know more about my plans. One particular comment recently spurred me on to start again where someone who had interacted with one of my blog posts commented that he had recommended my website to his wife and I should start a newsletter. He had mentioned just the things I was just about to do when I suddenly stopped working on my website. I realised I was onto something and I should return to what I had been doing. So next steps - creating more content, collecting emails and starting a newsletter. I'm feeling excited!
I have just written my first piece of new content prior to logging back into WA giving me something to work on whilst I visit and get motivated again. This was all about my fears - of success, of failure and also of judgement by other people. I have worked on these fears, I have logged back in and I have gained my 12 month dedication badge from WA (plus I upgraded to annual membership of premium).
I'm really determined 2017 will be my year. I will succeed at this and I will marry my soul mate - an amazing year lies ahead for me. I hope all at the WA community feel the same way. Wishing you much success (please don't fear it).

I am sure you will be great with WA
Hi Paul. Great to see some familiar faces. I just put a new post on my website so feeling the momentum again. At least I am not starting from scratch. I need to look at my website layout and sort out my links, but once I do that, I can concentrate on my next steps. Think I need an accountability partner to keep me working on this. I really enjoy WA! Happy New Year Paul (a little late - apologies).
