So, today I was reading some articles and news about our line of work and how to improve our businesses. One of the articles I found is about Facebook, and it seems is a new one, "Facebook Confirms Test of Email Marketing Tools for Small Business Pages."

Unfortunately, I lost hope of Facebook and their lousy support. However, after reading this news, I have some hopes now. Sending promotional emails to our followers on our business pages sounds a promising way to get more sales. But the question is:

Are there any restrictions on using this tool?

What I love about this tool is that a free one to use, and there is no third party such as Mailchimp or Aweber, to connect, which means fewer costs on us. But, I still doubt it's going to be a good way to promote products and content freely.

Thank you very much for sharing the great information

Great post

They will either charge for it at the start Mohammad or wait until people are doing nicely before holding onto everything until you sign up to pay.
Up until about 4 years ago they were great for small business but they have done their best to stop us.
Yes they are a business too but they forget that many small businesses cannot afford to pay to advertise. Or maybe they don't and just don't care.
Just be careful not to put everything in one place. Good luck.

Of course, I really dislike Facebook and all the changes they have made. They want the best for their users, which I agree with. However, they made sure to make small business owners suffer in the process. Recently, they started to ban randomly without even a good reason. That's why I barely trust them.

I feel much the same. I happily used FB for years until they ruined it. I just feel that ikts a total time waster. A lot of work for very little return.

My only concern is that your entire business could lie in Facebooks hand. One policy change, they take your list and email marketing abilities away from you.

This to me would feel like "eggs all in one basket" versus leveraging another email service like aweber, getresponse, mailchimp, etc to manage email, keeping it independent and away from what can feel like a totalitarian company at the best of times.

I agree with you. That's why I use Pinterest and soon, Twitter. Generally, I dislike using Facebook. But, this tool can be a hit for small businesses. Unless Facebook some harmful restrictions.

We will just have to see what the verdict is once people start using it.

Thank you for sharing this news.
Take care and stay safe.
