Letting Doubt Creep In
I have been stagnant this last week in my efforts to become a successful affiliate. I've been engaging with the community but I haven't been writing content and I was afraid to move on in my training do to the lack of my social media knowledge. I haven't really engaged in social media since I created one years back. So I have been fearful of my lack of knowledge and my lack of followers I have available. I have let this hinder my progress. I will attempt to move forward with the thought that things will be OK and as long as I follow the process that's been played out I should be cool. But my nerves are telling me different since I'm non existent when it comes to social media.

Take each step slowly, one foot In front of the other just as Kyle says and continue, even though you don’t have followers, it matters not.
I have yet to really take off with any of the social media platforms, Kyle is just showing you how. Many people on this platform will have success with one or more of the platforms and others don’t yet engage and are yet successful. Some follow Pinterest, (there are some good tutorials and many speak well of it)
You Tube is another with a huge and successful following once mastered. But for now all you need to do is master your website, create lots of posts with quality content. Eventually you will and can add affiliate links. You may even start to make a little money..👍 And eventually you can start your email list.
But if at this stage you are not feeling competent with social media then leave it until you have the time to devote.
Remember your pace can be as slow as you like, just keep moving forward... 🐢

Thank you Cordella. Your message put things back in perspective for me. Much success to you and happy New Year.
Good Morning Dallas,
Fear and worry are natural emotions that most of us encounter throughout our lives. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Remember as well that fear and worry has never made our problem go away. The best advice for you is right in your own post my friend! “Follow the process”, step by step, brick by brick, look for the small takeaways that are proof you are doing the right thing.
Best wishes for you in the coming year! 👍🏻🎉

Thanks Gerry. I do have a problem with me not looking at how far I've came and always looking at the distance I have to go. Thanks for the insightful words and happy New Year.
Hi Dallas, good to see your post. I want you to know that I have been on Social Media for several years and I'm in a similar position; I don't really do anything with it yet, but as I progress in my training, I will and I am sure you will too.

DRhoads - Don't let all this hang over your head, do what is comfortable with. You don't have to do Social media right away but you can make your website the best running one you can. Low hanging fruit, SEO and other items to streamline your traffic. Take the stress out of your working and use that for thinking, developing and Posting. Best to you.
Thanks for the advice and words of encouragement EHozubin.
