It says to copy and paste the code in each web page I want to track. But when I paste this code, it shows up on my web page as a (like a) weird html coding. (which it is)

I do. But it had said that I didn't have a google analytics account. So I signed up, and it gave me a ID, and a code to paste in my webpages...I will review the lesson above. Thank you for answering.
There are a few different ways to verify your site with analytics. Pasting the code is just one of the ways. The other way is actually a lot easier than that. You'll need the tracking ID instead of the tracking code. The tracking ID begins with "UA-". You then just paste the ID into your All In One SEO Plugin once and it takes care of it.
I believe the training I pasted above shows how to do that.
Thank you. I did in deed do that. Thank you. Very helpful. Now how to I make my website active, because I do not think it is. There is a error at the top of manager part of my website that says Your website needs to be publicly accessible to use Jetpack: site_inaccessible. What do I do to change this?
