Thank you. I always take this day to talk with my boys about why IWD needs to exist and the important role that boys have as they grow up and their role in an equitable society. We talk about what bystander action means. We talk about not letting what seem like subtle behaviours slide if they impact other people. It really is a day for great conversation.

We all have a responsibility to teach our young people about equality and respectful behaviour.

Happy Women's day to all our WA ladies.

Yes Happy Women's Day! This is known as an international holiday however mostly unknown here in the United States. We observe Mother's Day but we don't recognize International Women's Day. This holiday is very highly regarded all throughout Europe, and since I'm married to a Russian girl you bet I will never forget what March 8 is every year. Women's Day is all-encompassing honoring women/girls of all ages... it is "Their Day" They are on this day to be revered and focused on as the most important person of men/boys lives all day long. It's definitely a holiday for flowers, gifts, and most of all "good deeds" done for them all day long. They should want for nothing on this day. Soooo get busy guys!
