Hit a Wall
When I first came to WA I didn't realize my stumbling block would be social media. I am a private, shy person by nature so when I got to Google + and had to give detail info on myself I hit a wall!
I have FaceBook but have never really posted on it and didn't finish my profile. I have no problem writing emails or texting but for some reason I struggle with putting myself out there.
I would appreciate any advice on overcoming this obstacle. Has anyone else experienced this hesitancy of sharing personal info? I really don't know if it is shyness, paranoia or an insecurity.
Also in my dashboard, users, I have a place for email and website but no area to place the Google + link? Maybe it's a sign??

I was not very social when I stated online.
It took me some time to get any social media accounts.
That cost me a lot in time and money.

To share often makes one feel vulnerable! So just start with sharing the things you are comfortable sharing, maybe about your dog, a book you like, a quote that you find encouraging, things that don't point inward and make you feel vulnerable. As you go forward you will gain confidence and will learn how to share in a way that you are sharing yourself but not in such a deep personal way that you are made to feel vulnerable. :) Christa
Thank you so much for the advice! I will definitely take it. It really helps to get a different prospective.
