Nah it isn't free but there is a 30 day trial.

Will your movie stay in the air after the 30 days trial?

Yea whatever you record within the 30 days and produce is yours to keep. It's a downloadable software which also allows you to edit the videos and then produce them into whatever file type you want and then when it's finished rendering, it's all yours to keep and upload wherever you want to :).

So if you only wanted to record a few then it would be perfect.
