Just wanted to let everybody know that may be interested, that Coinbase is an Affiliate.

According to their website, if you join their affiliate program, and are accepted, they will pay 50 percent of the person's fees for the first 3 months from those who join Coinbase through your link.

I haven't joined yet, but plan to apply soon.

For anyone who has joined the Coinbase affiliate, how is it going?

Cheers,

Diane

That's very interesting, Diane. I'll have to look into that.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers
Rich :-)

I just signed up to be an affiliate. I don't even have any idea what it is or how to promote it. I guess I'll research it ASAP

Have been using Coinbase for more than 2 years.
Didn't know they have an affiliate program.
Great company... I'll apply for their affiliate program.
Thanks so much for the info.

Is it easy to buy and sell on there? Can you tell me your experience?

1

Yes, coinbase is easy.
You have to link your bank account and buy Bitcoin with your US$. Then you can send your Bitcoin to exchanges to trade Bitcoin for other cryptocurrencies.
If you want to buy Bitcoin with your credit card, you can go to Binance, which is a Chinese exchange.

I've had an excellent experience with Coinbase, I've been using them for over a year. I didn't know that they offered an affiliate program. I'll have to look into it when I'm ready. They have a very solid reputation in an industry that is still in its infancy. Much like AOL was for email providers back in the '90s.

I've made quite a bit of profit with cryptocurrency. But it's my play money account. I do not recommend anyone invest in the digital currency if they need it for bills or food.

The technology is not going away, it is going to replace the way we do banking, real estate and all sorts of other industries in the next few years. I've talked to people in the banking industry that say the same thing.

But it is impossible to know if the digital currency that is a by-product of the technology will be worth anything in a few years. It's totally gambling.

For now, it's fun to dabble.

What is it and how does it work?

Coinbase is the initial portal where you exchange your USD into Bitcoin.
You can store your Bitcoin on a Wallet such as My Ether Wallet or Jaxx Wallet. It is safe from anything.
Or you can transfer your Bitcoin to an Exchange and trade your Bitcoin for other 'coins' then transfer them into a Wallet, which is like a vault.
Hope this helps.

Never heard of it either myself. I'm not into cryptocurrency or digital currency if that is what it is called. I have no idea how it works. Will need to do a Google search on that.
