Do we have to deactivate All in One SEO plug in if we want to use Yoast SEO plugin? If I try to activate Yoast it is coming up with a warning that I have to deactivate All in
Yes. Then we should add MonsterInsight plugin in order google analytic works again. We should choose one SEO plugin only.
If you are using the All in One SEO plugin and Google XML at the same time, then make sure that you de-activate the sitemap feature in the All in One SEO plugin. For the sitemap component, use one or the other, not both.
For me, it is not worth switching to Yoast. If you need checklists to remind you of SEO actions, or you need the built in language checker that comes with Yoast, then it might be worthwhile for you.
It boils down to individual preference.
You might consider creating a Test site with Siterubix and play around with Yoast first to see if it gives you what you need, before making the switch on your existing site. ~Jude
Yes. You can only use one or the other, not both at the same time!
I recently changed back from Yoast (premium) to All-in-One SEO (free) as have some other members and we are now seeing much better ranking results, lots of page 2-3 listings going to page 1.
Yoast is incredibly popular because of the interactive feedback, but this is really nothing more than ticking an automated checklist that you could easily do yourself from a sheet of paper, it has no effect in itself on ranking. In fact, there are far better tools than Yoast for ensuring that your text is formatted and optimised to get the very best search engine results (especially as Yoast have moved many features from the free to the paid version). For example, Web Text Tool https://app.webtexttool.com/#/register-free
I'd recommend members looking to achieve the highest possible rankings stick with AIOSEO!

When you post a blog in WA community, does it reach all the members of the community or only the ones you are following / followers?
Only the ones that are following you and if they have notifications on for blog posts.
It will also show up in the activity dashboard so other people may find it there. :-)

If I post my WA affiliate link on social media and the visitor clicks and then go to google to research and decide to sign up from there. Would my cookie still
As long as the person doesn't clear their cookies on their computer after clicking your link and as long as they dont click on someone else's affiliate link, then you should get the sale credited to you. Hope this helps

My site has been indexed by google couple weeks ago when it was only a HTTP Site and I have seen some statistics of clicks and activity. After following Jay' s training I have
Hi Abdul11,
For our site to be secure and to get the padlock in web address bar we have to switch to https://. Check one of Jay's training on this.
See below. Switching from HTTP to HTTPS
Hi Devaraj
You would need to add the https version to search console as well and verify it like you did with your HTTP version of your site.
You'll then need to resubmit your sitemap and let Google crawl your new https version.
Eventually, your stats from your HTTP version will go away and you'll start receiving data from your new https version of your site.
It will take a few days for your https site to get indexed and start receiving data so I wouldn't worry if you aren't indexed just yet.
I hope this helps Devaraj and please let me know if you have any other questions or need my help.
~Cheers

Hi Scott,
I have added all the versions to search console and hope it will pick up now.
Thanks for your help,

Did you "Add Property" for the https version of your website? You need to add all 4 versions of your website at Search Console
http://

http://www.
https://www.
Then choose your preferred version (https:// without www) and only "Fetch as Google" for your preferred version.
