BEC Vantage Reading Exam Course Update

I've been working on a semi-secret project since the start of the year. It's a Udemy course for people taking the BEC Vantage exam. The course specifically takes a detailed look at the reading part of the exam and gives advice and tips on how to approach the separate parts of the reading test, together with 'over-the-shoulder' examples taken from a real exam.

On Saturday, I got around to making a significant dent in the remaining parts of this Udemy course.

I had already finished the screencast videos and all that remained were the five section introductions, the course introduction, summary and promotion video. 'All that remains' - yeah, right ^^

I personally find the screencasts easier to do, as there is no lighting to set up, no tripods to position - just record the screen and talk. This is probably why the screencast videos were all sorted out first.

I don't have a dedicated recording space and it's actually quite time-consuming to set it all up. The light diffusers and camera tripod need to be set up and adjusted, the room acoustics need to be improved (draping bedding over the furniture, but out of camera view).

The first try had to be deleted because the microphone wasn't switched on. The second had to be deleted because although the microphone was switched on, it wasn't plugged in - aarrrgghhhh.

Finally, I got the first one recorded and edited. After that initial phase of tearing hair out, the rest of the videos were much smoother and I finished and uploaded all five section videos by the end of the day.

All I need to do to finish the course are the introduction and summary, with a promotion video. I sense that I'm on the final lap and can get the course finished soon.
