Universal Analytics is going away
I am so used to this interface. But it is the time!
I found a new message when I logged into my Google Analytics account today.
It says that from July 1, 2023, Universal Analytics will no longer process new data in standard properties. We need to set up and switch over to a Google Analytics 4 property.
I set up GA 4 account for my property a few months ago following Jay's training. So that is already done. It is just that I have been using UA interface for most of the time.
The Universal Analytics account will continue collecting the data from your property till July 1, 2023. Then for at least the next 6 months, you'll be able to access and export all this data from your UA account.
In the coming months, Google will announce a date after which the UA interface would cease to exist forever. ( 'forever' - is it some extra emphasis?)
This is what wikipedia has to say about existence:
In reality there is no thing that ultimately ceases to exist; only the appearance of a thing ceases as it changes from one form to another.

I will know GA4 better now as that will be the only option. Is it more efficient in terms of reporting?

Thank you for the info.
Thanks. It seems many others have been using Universal Analytics.
