Let AI help, but let it sound like you
I use ChatGPT quite often now.
(It creates really nice images. This blog post image is created with ChatGPT)
Sometimes to break a creative block, sometimes just to explore what all is possible.
And every time, I am amazed at the number of ideas it throws at me in seconds. Whether it is for blog posts or social media posts, it never seems to run out of suggestions.
But here is what I have learned - you do not have to use all the ideas.
And you definitely do not have to use them "as-is".
When I asked ChatGPT to generate blog topics based on my site content, I got a list that was almost too good.
It had everything ! Depth, variety, angles I had not thought of.
But as I scrolled through the suggestions, I noticed something.
While the ideas were solid, they did not sound like me, yet. They were not wrong. But just, not mine.
That is when I realized that ChatGPT is a great tool, but it does not replace your voice.
It reflects back what it finds, based on patterns and prompts. It gives you structure, themes, even phrasing.
But the soul of the content? That still has to come from you.
It is the same with my social media posts.
I often use ChatGPT to brainstorm post ideas or story outlines.
But I always go back and shape them in a way that feels natural to me.
I simplify some parts. I rewrite others completely.
Sometimes I just keep the seed of the idea and let it grow in my own direction.
I do not consider this effort of editing, refining, and rewriting as any extra work. It is the actual work!
It is how I make sure that my content does not sound like everyone else’s.
That it carries my tone, my intention, and my style.
Because at the end of the day, content is not just about what you say, it is about how it feels to the your audience.
You can generate ten brilliant topic ideas in ten seconds.
But unless they carry your energy, they will feel distant. Like someone else wrote them.
So now, whenever I use ChatGPT, I know it will help me think wider, dig deeper, and save time.
But I am the one who chooses the direction. I am the one who brings the voice. And that is what makes the difference.
If you also want to use AI tools but still stay true to your tone, you absolutely can.
Just treat the output like a first draft. Then shape with in your style. Trust your voice. Bring your intention.
That is the part no tool can do for you.
And it happens so many times that I come up with ideas and let ChatGPT analyze them as a reader and let me tell if my ideas sound good! And as alwayd, it is quite appreciative of my efforts and also gives out suggestions for further refinement !
How are you using ChatGPT or any other AI tool? It would be nice to hear your experience.

I agree that it is important to make sure the content is stile coming from you. I also use AI to help A LOT with brainstorming and planning content (especially video) but if I was not critical and added my own knowledge and style, it would not be great. But in combination it is extremely powerful.
