Finally I Solved the Biggest Visual Gap in My YouTube Stories

I try to improve my storytelling skills in a few of my YouTube projects. And I have always wanted to turn a written narrative into a visual experience. But one challenge that I always face is "consistency", using free tools.

I wanted the characters in my stories to look the same across scenes, without using a paid tool.I recently discovered something that completely changed this situation for me: ChatGPT’s image generation feature. And what amazed me the most?

I could actually generate consistent character images across an entire story, simply by writing a good prompt and being clear about the scenes.Yes, consistent characters. Scene after scene.

Emotions, settings, actions—all brought to life through images that felt connected and true to the story.

Let me walk you through what happened.

A Heartfelt That Story Sparked It All

It began with a script I had written with a title I really liked.

It was a heartfelt story about people and how they connected with each other in simple ways, without undue complications.

A simple, everyday story, told through small moments.

Once the script was ready, I needed visuals to turn it into a YouTube video.

That’s when I took a leap and tried something I hadn’t done before. I used ChatGPT’s image generation tool with a focus on character consistency.

And it worked !

The Prompt That Did the Magic

Here’s the simple format I used for every image prompt:“Create an image (keeping the characters consistent for the story 'Title of the story', in landscape aspect 1280x720, about this: [brief scene description])”

Scene after scene, I followed the same structure.

And each time, the characters looked like the same people, from the same story, experiencing different emotions and moments.
