Summer Momentum: Why June Is the Perfect Time to Power Up Your Online Business

I have been busy blogging, and creating pins so I have not stopped by WA in awhile to drop my motivation minute. So I am dropping a motivation minute today.

As the summer sun begins to shine and vacations start filling calendars, it’s easy to let our online businesses take a back seat. But really, June is one of the best months to gain momentum.

While many people slow down, this is your chance to speed up.

At Wealthy Affiliate, we know that consistency is the key to long-term success. Whether you're just getting started with the training or you've been building your site for a while, every lesson completed and every blog post published puts you miles ahead of the competition. This is true especially during a season when others are distracted.

Use this month to:

Set clear, weekly goals. What training will you complete? How many posts will you publish?

Experiment with seasonal content. Summer is great for affiliate opportunities, from travel gear to backyard essentials. Since summer is time for travel and vacations, I started a list on Benable for travel wear essentials. (My niche is travel.) I made money there in a couple of days. (Not a momentous amount, but everything helps.)

Audit your site. Refresh your design, update older posts, and improve SEO to keep your business in top shape.

Don’t let the "summer slowdown" hold you back. Stay connected, ask questions, and support your fellow WA members. Remember: You’re not working for a boss, you’re building a future.
