I came up with an idea a few months ago that I wish I would have thought of years ago! It's a way to increase traffic to my website from Pinterest. It's working well, so I thought I would share it here on Wealthy Affiliate.
What are Paragraph Pins?
Paragraph pins are when you create a pin for every paragraph or heading within your blog post. For example, if you wrote a blog post with the title, "How to Save Money at the Grocery Store" and it included three headings/paragraphs within the post such as:
Heading #1: Use coupons
Heading #2: Watch the weekly sales papers
Heading #3: See if your grocery store offers discounts on certain weekdays

Instead of just doing one or two pins directing people to the post using the title, you can also create an extra pin for each of the paragraphs. You can also quickly grab your pin description content by copying/pasting a section of the content within each paragraph.
Am I making sense? LOL
How to Do Paragraph Pins on Pinterest
So for this example post, you'd do 4 pins for Pinterest:
Pin #1: How to Save Money at the Grocery Store: Grab the intro paragraph from your post to use as the Pinterest description.
Pin #2: Use Coupons: Grab the first paragraph from that section of your post to use as the Pinterest description
Pin #3: Watch the Weekly Sales Papers: Grab the first paragraph from that section of your post to use as the Pinterest description.
Pin #4: See If Your Grocery Store Offers Discounts on Certain Weekdays: Grab the first paragraph from that section of your post to use as the Pinterest description.
So...very quickly, you can make 4 pins, all linking to your post. Make sure you schedule these two days apart so you don't look spammy to Pinterest.
I hope that helps! Like I said, doing paragraph pins has helped my Pinterest traffic grow very quickly. I hope it works for you too! Debra
