I Don’t Want AI to Replace Me. I Want It to Give Me Back My Time

I recently watched a talk by Sabrina Ramonov, and one thing she said has stayed with me: she uses AI not to replace herself, but to amplify herself. To her, the most valuable currency is time.

That got my attention.

Sabrina said she creates her original content one day a week, then uses AI and automation to adapt and distribute it across platforms. She also reported growing to 1.4 million followers and 500 million organic views at the time of the talk. Those numbers are impressive, and I am in no way trying to copy her results. I am interested in the question behind her system: can AI help one person do meaningful work without consuming every spare hour?

I have a full-time job. I also have a website; I am participating more here at WA, and I have been seriously thinking about writing on other platforms. I cannot realistically create a separate original article for every place I might publish.

I also do not want AI to manufacture a personality for me or fill those platforms with posts just because it can.

What I would like is help with "the work around the work".

Finding questions people are actually asking, sorting through possible ideas, checking my assumptions, even spotting weaknesses in a draft. Then, when I have written something worthwhile, helping me see whether it could be adapted for another platform.

That is what I call amplification. The experience, opinions, and final decisions still need to be mine.

I started a ChatGPT Project I call Idea Radar. I ask it to look for current conversations, problems, and trends that might lead to useful content. I do not want a huge report or fifty ideas I will never use. I want a short list I can consider, research, and either pursue or set aside.

It is early. I cannot claim that this has saved me hours yet.

That is the test I want to apply, though. If I spend less time hunting for ideas and more time thinking through a good one, it is helping. If I end up managing a complicated AI system and reviewing piles of content I never asked for, I have not gained any time at all.

Sabrina built Blotato, a tool that is part of the system she described, so I am keeping in mind that her talk also shows what her product can do. And a person still has to check what AI produces. Repurposing a post for another platform is not quite the same as pressing a button and walking away.

Even so, her central idea is worth exploring. AI does not have to mean replacing the person behind the work. It might mean giving that person more room to do the parts that matter.

For me, success would not be publishing hundreds of posts a week. It would be finding a useful idea, doing it justice, and still having some of my week left.
