Bing chat (GPT) is live!
So, I don't know how long it has been but I stumbled on Bing's new Chat (or should I say ChatGPT) when searching to fix my Bluetooth headphones this morning. So of course, my first question (once I had found the info to pair my headphones) was to ask a question relating to Wealthy Affiliate. ๐
Here's the image
Not too shabby if I say so myself! I've been using ChatGPT for some time now and the main thing to learn is "Prompt Engineering". If you know what questions to ask, it will provide the right answer. I can't wait to see what Google Bard will be like!
What are your impressions? Are you for or against it?

Have a great day/night

UPDATE: One thing I noticed is that Bing gives a reference to the websites it gathers the information from on a small "Learn more:" bottom line at the end of the response...

I use ChatGPT in OpenAI all the time. I love it.
The key is to learn how to give it the correct prompts to get what you want out of it.
Dianne
That is the key.
I learned a new term earlier this week, and they call it "Prompt Engineering."
Hey, Denis
I signed up for the โNew Bingโ when the app first became available. Itโs interesting to see how itโs functionality may influence Internet searchers using the Bing app and Edge.
I mainly use ChatGPT in OpenAI.
Iโm guessing that Google Bard will be more popular and functional, based on their current level of search market dominance.
Rock On! ๐ค

I had signed up a while back for the new Bing, and this morning, it just appeared out of the blue...
As for ChatGPT, I use it so often now that I have a tab in my browser always opened on Open AI ๐
Yeah, I have a ChatGPT tab constantly open, too!
Lol! Apparently, great guitar-playing minds think alike, Denis! Haha! ๐

Hi, Mike
I highly recommend you open an account. ChatGPT is a great idea generator and research tool. ๐

Hi Mike,
I read something this morning, and it makes sense.
I copied the text, so these are not my own words ๐
"The AI tools revolution has just begun, showing incredible capabilitiesโฆ while it is clear this is only the beginning of the wave.
Letโs be clear: as with any revolution, there will be winners and losersโฆ and the losers will be those who will not have adapted and who will have passively watched others gradually master these tools and achieve much better results.
Itโs like when computers and Photoshop arrived: those who refused to get into it to stay on paper and pencil got disrupted by others."
Thank you, Denis! That is the one I just signed up for when I searched for it.
It's awesome!

Hi, Mike

Once you create an account, check out both ChatGPT and "Playground."
Playground gives you more control of the output.
Add the Chrome browser extension "AIPRM for Chat GPT." It gives you the ability to load pre-built prompt templates, but the real power of this extension is creating your own prompt templates! ๐

Yes, but Google Bard will be the ultimate AI content-writing tool.
Coming soon! ๐

Great example, I am using the New Bing too, Denis. I am experimenting with it to see how it behaves.
I am embracing AI in my workflow, and have no problems with it. With or without AI assistance, I need to do the same tasks in my business in general and in my content creation process.
I still need to do proper research on topics I want to write about, I need to verify what AI return based on my prompts, and I need to make sure the formatting of my articles is according to how I want it, and I need to make sure that my values, ethics and integrity are safeguarded. I need to make sure that my business SOP is followed.
If I am outsourcing, I still need to do the same thing, verify what I get from the freelancer I have used.
My opinion about the discussion about AI or not AI is that the discussion is off track. It is not about AI or not, it is all about using tools available to us, in the best way possible, and remembering that we are in control of what we want AI to do for us.
Not jumping in and learning about AI, what it is, and what it means in our lives, in our case which is all WA members, is like shooting yourself in the foot and hoping you donยดt get hurt.
Technology advance is not dangerous as such, It is all about how we understand (knowledge) it and how we put it to use and for which purpose.
The keywords here are ethics and integrity.
Regarding Google Bard, Google was taken off guard by Microsft and OpenAI.
An interesting observation about New Bing was that Microsft needed to reign it in some time ago due to it became offensive and nasty towards people that interacted with it. I got this information from The Morning Brew and Tech Brew last week.

Hi Roy,
You've made a great point that it's essential to use tools available to us in the best way possible and that we control how we want AI to work for us.
I completely agree with you that the discussion should not be about AI or not AI but rather about how we can utilize technology in a way that aligns with our values, ethics, and integrity.
It's like having hired a new helper. We must constantly check if the work it does is "up to par" kinda thing.
We have to keep in mind that we are still responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated results and ensuring that our values and standards are upheld.
At the end of the day, it's up to us to evaluate the potential risks and consequences of new technology and approach it cautiously.
