Hey! Two Months on WA ... Made Any Money Yet?

– Right, Mister, you joined WA two months ago. Have you actually made any progress yet?

Well yes, I have actually. I’ve gone through a lot of the WA training and I’ve set up a new website.

– Made any money yet?

You must be joking. First, I’m also working moreorless fulltime and I do have to devote a few seconds now and again to my current lover (do I not?). Anyway, I’m barely dreaming of monetizing the site yet. I want to get lots of useful content up first so that visitors don’t feel they have to empty their wallets every time they visit the site.

When I’ve packed the site with great information and advice, then they’ll trust me so much that they’ll unquestioningly follow my advice – for example, to buy a fifth-hand Lada with 500,000 miles on the clock (affiliate commission = a quarter of a rouble).

– Not a bad excuse, but I’ll ask you the question again six months from now, and expect you to have made at least 30 dollars from your affiliate commissions.

OK, I’ll give you 10 of them if I haven’t.

– Eh? (scratches head) Anyway, what’s that Wealthy Affiliate program like? A waste of time?

Far from it. Of course it could be if you didn’t use it properly: if you didn’t bother to go through the training systematically, and implement it; if you spent your time socializing with the other members; if you just used it as another delaying tactic to avoid actually planning and establishing a website.

The training is great, though it would be even better if a lot of the other guidance available on the WA site was fully integrated with it, so that you’d have complete step-by-step guidance in the one place. On the other hand, any time you have a problem, you can do a search and instantly find answers.

One great feature is the way you can give feedback to members about their sites and receive it in return about your own site.

One very important benefit is not so obvious. It’s a psychological one. At times you wonder if your work is going to lead anywhere, whether you want to make a little extra income or would like to make your project your main source of income. If you were working on your own, you could get discouraged, but there’s a great sense of common enterprise, solidarity and support in WA, as well as the fact that some members are doing very well.

– Yeah, I’m sure the guys behind WA are doing very well, thank you!

No doubt, and all the better if they are. I suppose you’d go for a program run by guys that were not making a cent. Now that’d be a great program! Learn how to double your income from guys who don’t make a bean!

The thing is, though, that the WA guys seem to be genuinely interested in helping members to succeed.

By the way, how are you getting on with that “Make a Million in One Day” program that you joined nine months ago?
