Motivational Series - Early Mornings Productive For You?
If I have the entire day to myself, the most productive I find myself with working on my websites is from
9:00am - 10:30am (Eastern Time)
Now that window may not be entirely accurate. It could be from exactly 8:57am-10:31am but I never made note each day on when I was really FEELING it.
Within that window we have to do the most difficult thing - and that is to get started!
Most Difficult Task is Getting Started
Getting started can be the most difficult. Our minds create the constant belief 'what if what I do right now doesn't result in anything and I just waste my time???"
Truth is if we don't do it, whatever we decide to do probably won't result in anything either.
Many times when trying to get started, I end up on YouTube watching videos from some amazing channels. Last few weeks my main distraction was Blue Jays Baseball highlights.
I watched some this morning and then CLOSED the YouTube tab on my browser.
Funny thing is when we get started and make huge progress right away, we build crazy momentum and end up feeling unstoppable!
Most Productive Window + Current Weather
Early mornings are productive for me. But the weather also plays a huge part.
During early mornings, if it just finished raining and the weather is currently cloudy, my mind will feel really refreshed and be easier to get work done.
From looking online I see a dark, cloudy morning can help your body produce more melatonin, hormone that regulates sleep.
When rain hits the ground. they release negative ions into the atmosphere. Some research suggests they act as a natural antidepressant - boosts your mood, reduces stress and increases energy levels.
This results in better focus and I have to agree. Feel most productive when the weather is like this.
Successful People Wake Up at 4:00am
Read numerous times all over that many of the most successful people get up and start their day at 4:00am. Wake up, eat breakfast, exercise and get to work.
I guess they have a much earlier productive window.
Which time of day you find yourself to be most productive?

Hello Dave, Interesting Post, I'm not a morning Person much, I'm in bed about 11-12 and not up until 8-9, Start the day on the computer with coffee, that is a Routine, unless something better comes along, Try not to go outside till 11*12, But great weather right now so been getting up early and going out to have coffee, I'm in fl. where do you live?šš
Love warm weather. Been to Miami and Fort Lauderdale - different trips. Fort Lauderdale twice just for the cruises. Live in Ontario. Starting to get cool here and the leaves are coming down.
Getting full night sleep is important. Most days I end up in bed around 12:00am and set my alarm for 5am. Most of the time don't get out of bed until 6am.. lol

If they wake up at 4am , when do they go to sleep?
I usually use WA from 10am-1pm central time
However, I feel linke I don't do much.
That's the thing. I would love try getting up that early. But will get tired much sooner and will have to go to sleep early.
Your body is used to that cycle; it'll be a process but you can get there.
š I feel like I don't get much done though.š¤„
