Help with read more on iconic one theme.

Hi All...i need help with anyone experienced with iconic onetheme.. i love this theme and really want to continue with it, the problem i am having is firstly i would like to remove the read more button on my post if possible but reading the help on here apparently cannot be done. not to much of an issue though... the main issue i am having is i want my image to show next to the post where it goes on to show read more, but the image disappears on the view site page until you click on read more,,,hope this makes sense!
