So Why Should You Do Business With Me?
So that is a loaded question. Let me say that I think anyone in business should tell people why they feel that you should do business with them.
For half of my adult working life, I have been in business for myself. Those I will talk about here.
After my time in the United States Marine Corp. during the Veit Nam War. I worked for others for several years. Which was okay and I made a lot of money but I did not have the satisfaction of knowing I could create something more than a paycheck.
While I was employed by others I also had a Home Business and at that time and for several years I was involved with Network Marketing some know it better as MLM.
Over the course of time, I decided I wanted to start my own pest control company which was my background. I began my company with just three people including myself and branched out into landscaping. At one point we had over 25 people on staff which included our resident manager.
At the point of trying to make a decision of what our next step was. The three partners decided it was time for us to separate and go our own way. Which happens in many instances in the service industry everyone things differently.
At that time, I decided to take some time for reflection. During all of this, I was still involved with Network Marketing which wonderful my wife and I traveled all over the United States meeting people and building our business.
Many years later I was hungry for the challenge of building another brick and mortar business and started another landscape company.
This was extremely successful until 2008 when the fuel prices went thru the roof you see everything we did was run by fuel. The cost of that and the updated government employee expense really affected the bottom line. So it was hard to make ends meet and be profitable at the same time.
So as the sole owner of the company I decided to move on to the next journey in my life. I further was a department manager for The Home Depot and Lowes Home Improvement Store.
It mat seem that my experience is wide and varied and it really is but one thing has remained the same during this time. Me, yes you read that correct. I am honest, loyal, determined, focused and kind.
I have been told many times that I am a natural born leader and I don't think that is true. I think you lead by your own example. You do what you say and you say what you are going to do.
Thanks for reading and considering me for your business partner.

Thank you for sharing. Those qualities you have would make me want to do business with you - I value honesty and kindness.
It's amazing what experiences we have as we go through our working lives , working to build an online presence can utilize a lot of those skills. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for this post, Dave!
Yes, absolutely, without honesty, nothing of value can ever be accomplished!
Great post Dave! I think without those qualities you pointed out at the end of your article, being honest, loyal, determined, focused and kind are the only TRUE way of being personally successful in any business Including the one here. If I gotta use tactics that are deceitful to make it in my online business then I will drop it like a hot potato. Again, a great share!
Mark.

Hi Dave. Although your background is interesting, this is really not what WA blogs should focus on. Rules of WA Blogs

You have traveled a long journey to make you what you are. There is no smooth path for everyone who wants success. We all knew so well. Regards Sadie
Thanks, Sadie! And that is why you never criticize another because you don't know their journey!
