In this Wealthy Affiliate Community post, I wanted to share with you the fact that I have added a 'shortcode' for Aweber to my blog.

What is a short code?

In laymens terms its code that is shortened to save you work, with embedding HTML into your blog post.

So the shortcode used from AWeber, now that its been inserted into the post, means that the form I want to use for collecting names and email addresses appears automatically, which is a real time saver, as I'm sure you will agree.

How is this shortcode achieved?

Very simply by adding the AWeber plugin to your blog, which then directs you through the set up process.

You;ll need to be logged into your AWeber account to finish the steps off, which are simple enough

Aweber directs you from your blog to their site, which once connected, then provides you with the code.

Once you get the code, insert it into your blog post and presto its done!

Looks professional and like I say is a real time saver.

I am using AWeber on my blog because it meets the criteria I have for the blog.

Plus in the past I have used AWeber and at one time, was earning more from them, than I was paying

Effectively I had a free account which was really nice.

Not only that, but because you are building a list of subscribers, you need somewhere to house them

AWeber is as good as place as any for this.

Your list is the only thing online you actually earn income from, irrelevant of other opps or what happens to them.

Your list determines what happens to your online future moving forward

Your blog is a great place to house your list, especially with what you have at WA

So if you are new, experienced professional or well advanced, build your list build your future
