Not going anywhere yet.

I've almost concluded my first month here at WA. While I'm not making money out of my own website yet, I have started to earn some by managing the website of my brother in law, optimizing his google rankings and starting to use social media to promote it for him.
It's fun to use what I learn here, and if you have a local business or know someone who has it you should really check the local marketing section for additional tips.
In fact, a lot of small business owners don't have the time do manage their website and social media, so I advice you to offer them help if you have any within your real life friends circle. They won't mind paying you something for the effort if they see the results, and believe me they will get results if you use what you learn here.

I know most of you are here to work on your own project, but while these grow this technique can be a nice source of extra income. Enough to pay for the subscription here and then some. I know it does for mine :)
Of course I'm still working on my own projects (and teaching a class or two in real life) but it's nice to earn a bit already. Speaking of teaching, I can't wait untill I am senior enough to post here, this site can use some good material on graphic design and I have some excellent courses I wrote in dutch wich I can't wait to translate :)
