It Dawned on me!

So, as I recently spent time thinking about why I am so slow getting my website going. It dawned on me that I am worrying way too much. I recently retired and was feeling like I "had" to stick to a set schedule and do something every day at the same time. I was not happy. It has taken me 2-3 months to get over that feeling of being chained to someone else’s desk, even though the desk was actually in my home. I did have the luxury of working from home but was still governed my someone else for my time. Now I sit here at the oddest hours and times and get up when I feel like it.

That is the beauty of this thing called Wealthy Affiliate. And if I am slow so what. I have never in my life thought I would be attempting to build a website to earn money with. When I worked I was chained to a computer nearly 8 to 10 hours a day and swore I would never ever do that again. It is now becoming pleasurable to "work" at my computer since I am no longer working to make someone else's dreams come true. Now I get to work on my dreams. Am I still slow yes but getting faster each day. Will I ever be a super blogger, probably not. But I will be a blogger and I will succeed.

Moral of the story; stop trying to compete with everyone else. Be yourself and it will flow easier and easier. So, it takes me longer to get the concepts, so what. I did not grow up using a computer. Even when I worked on one for someone else it was never easy for me. ButI can tell you this. Now that I am doing it for myself it is getting easier.

So thank you everyone for the great community you are and thank you, Kyle and Carson for "inventing" WA all those years ago.
