Day 21 - Going Public
10th February 2016
What a hectic few days it's been!
The wheels are well and truly in motion here at my website. Myself and Aiden have been planning meticulously for the next few weeks of the site and already have some blog posts drafted and scheduled for release. Not only that, but we've started planning site 2! We're not rushing ourselves - however - just planning ahead, which is most definitely important.
We also decided to 'go public' as it were, and show off what we've done so far on social media to people we know. The results have been overwhelming and the support shown by our peers is fantastic. Things are getting more and more exciting.
I'm still yet to start course 3. In fact, I'm beginning it after writing this!
It's 4pm here, and on the website there has been just over 100 views today! It came as a shock, but it has made me immensely happy! My rank here at WA is also still shooting up; 909! I'm still doing my best to help anyone here that needs it. I'm always feeling more and more confident and in the next few days I'll have my first video put up on the site. I feel more determined than ever to make this work!
Thanks for reading, I'll be sure to keep you updated if anything else of note occurs!
If you feel like checking my website, visit http://recipereview.net and leave me a comment :)
Thanks, Daniel.

Wow amazing! Well done, and a great and helpful idea for a site :) General question as Daniel mentions it and I don't know yet - what is the deal with rankings? How do you improve, and what are the benefits? :) I've only been here a week and still learning whats what.
Hey Theresa!
Basically, The rankings are based on 3 things; Helper, Creator, and Activity.
Helper is how often you assist other members of the community - either by live chat, welcoming new members and new premium members on their pages, and replying to peoples questions and blog posts.
Creator is how often you post (such as on your blog) and give people things to read.
Activity is how often you're on the site and again using the live chat.
To really boost your rank, try to welcome as many people to premium as you can before you reach your comment limit. I do this daily. Also, I post regular blog updates such as this one.
This all adds up and your member rank comes as a result of all this!
Take a look at this: Boosting Your WA Ranks! This explains very well about becoming an ambassador. The benefit to this is that anything you post is shown to absolutely everything on the site, which means many more people see what you're doing/ view your site.
Hope this helps! Daniel
Don't be silly! Always happy to help! I wouldn't be able to help others if others didn't help me to begin with :)
Hey Daniel, loving the site! My brother was diagnosed with type1 diabetes a couple of years ago (he's 10 now) so I was instantly involved with the info you're supplying. Safe to say, I've bookmarked your page!!
Hope you have continuing success!
Emma
Thank you so much Emma! Do you have a site you want me to have a look at? I would be more than happy to. Thanks for your kind words - hope your brother is okay :)
All the best, Daniel
Excellent Daniel, you're an inspiration!!! And you just anseered 2 questions I would have had to ask later. Cool!
Haha what 2 questions were they?!
I'm glad this helps, it's only 3 weeks since I joined. Anything truly is possible!
Daniel
Whether videos are possible to install
Whether one has the time to truly work on content before
putting it in the web
Hello again Daniel!
I hope its ok if I copied the site info into my private library FOR LEARNING PURPOSES ONLY!!!
It gives me a great picture of whats possible and needed for a well-rounded Site!
Thanks a million!!
Love, Therese
Of course! I'm so glad I could help! Good luck and let me know if you need a hand!

Awesome to hear about everything thus far. Sounds like things should be good for you indeed. Also noticed on your website at the top, it's asking you to paste your bing webmasters tools and google webmasters tools verification codes on the site. Visitors shouldn't see that. Otherwise looks good.
You have to add the code from each into your website to make those go away. Are you using the All In One SEO plugin?
Yes thats the plugin i use. I've currently deactivated the bing and google webmaster tools so that the notifications dissapeared!
