I Really Have Come a Long Way!

The picture is what our house (on the right) looked like after tropical storm Hermine visited us in September of 2016.

I think you are wondering what that has to do with my success in WA. Bear with me and I hope to explaine.

First of all just look at my accomplishments

• I joined WA in July
• Completed Level one OEC trainig
• Almost finished Level two OEC training
• Created an active website that I own:
  
• My writing skills are improving. A Lot.

Why the picture is appropriate

Life has been getting in the way of progressing as rapidly as I had expected to.

Nine days ago we were expectind hurricane Dorian to affect where we live on the west coast of Florida. That would have been a big rain event for us, and we were expecting to be flooded like the picture. The home on the right is our home and the date of the picture is September 3, 2016, just 3 years ago. As it turns out, we were in no danger at all. It is so sad what happened in the Bahamas.

Emotionally, I was unable to concentrate at all on my WA training or anything else.

Back to work now

Other life happenings interferred with my schedule and made me wonder "can I really do this?"

But the WA community has been such an inspiration and slowly I came to realize Just how much I have learned. I Have even figured out some things on my own that I started to ask help on.

Now I am focused and more determioned to keep moving forward. Wish me luck. Thanks.
