Spam is a metaphor for...
.... I'm not sure. Let me pontificate.
I am trying to learn all the things, so I step back, come back, step back, but I am reading a shit ton of things while trying to figure out my rhythm to all of this.
My email is blowing up with spam from some user named icegailbab.
Now, originally I wanted to pontificate, in my blog, about all the symbolism I see around me in regards to books, movies, life.
Spam is a wake up call. It's like the nagging little sister you just want to punch in the nose because she is a giant brat and will she eff off already! But no! She does not.
My theory is when my blog gets better the spam will turn into gold...
...but also how do I make it stop? I have all the captcha and akismet put in it's like 700 it keeps coming in moment by moment and I have to delete all of them one by one. HELP!

You can do bulk delete. The thing is you won't be able to stop the spammers. Once they realize you're not publishing any of their spam, they'll move on -- they're getting no benefit out of it, unless they know it irritates you.

You are not alone! SPAM is automated - it is designed to torture. Delete and consider it part of internet marketing (after you have taken all the preventive steps, of course).
