Nom de Plume anyone?

Hello! I am somewhat new to this. I was blogging regularly a few years ago but then stopped. I am in the process of getting back into it with a more directed niche. I was wondering if any of you use a nom de plume and if so, do you use an actual photo of yourself or do you use an avatar or other photo that isn't you? Also, are you glad you're anonymous? If you do NOT use a nom de plume, do you wish you had? Why?

I have been writing for over 30 years, both under a pseudo nom de plume as a ghostwriter (never my own name, under the name of the client(s) ) and under my own name as well. Plus, I use 'onmyownterms' in dozens of places rather than my real name. I rarely use photos of myself, opting for the logo you see above, for reasons that I have written in my WA blog here (post title - Predilection for Privacy). That's my .02, YMMV.
