I'm not going to lie, I've been slacking for the past 4 weeks. Our household has been ill, our huge extension on our house is drawing to a close and taking a lot of my time to shop for fittings, and I'm now 7 months pregnant and getting more and more tired by the day.
decided today that I need to get my act together again. I've not written a single post in 13 days and my site health is suffering as my publishing frequency has ditched down to 30%. I decided to spend this evening reviewing my analytics and research my next post, ready to write it tomorrow.
Imagine my surprise when I logged into my Amazon Affiliate account and found that I've made my first sale! £1.74 from a product I don't think even link to on my site!

Yes! Definitely! A few months later and I've still been making a handful of sales on my Amazon affiliate link.... if I keep slogging away I'm sure that the pennies will soon turn into £££!
It does seem like the 1st phase is 3 to 6 months to see some earnings then it starts to take off. Just my observations.
It all comes down to traffic... and the more posts you have, the more traffic you will get. Try and post twice per week, on the same day of the week and Google will start to notice you. It really takes at least 20 posts for Google to even see that you exist!
