" I Know Kung-Fu ", A.K.A, Getting The Right Training
Just an update really on my path so far here at WA. 5 weeks in....
Learning loads, I am a very detail orientated type of person and I have picked probably 10 or 20 niches ( I do literally like nearly everything, subject wise ), and I have researched everything as thoroughly as I can muster.
Have gotten a good amount of my content developed as well, I am lucky regards this aspect, as I can write 2 or 3 thousand words plus in no time, which I did not know I could do before I joined.
Whether that is good content, that people value, time will tell :)
So to address, Getting The Right Training, I have come to realize that for me, more than any other category it is in the technical's of web design.
There are other areas to develop as well, but by ordering them in relevance to my immediate goals I have given myself a structure to progress along.
I do not need to be a master at it, but I do feel I need greater proficiency with it to be able to present what I want too, in the way that I wish too.
So I would recommend really running through your skill set, mentally checking off where you are happy and where you feel you need to develop.
Then you can cognitively put your strengths to the best use steering you forward all whilst you are developing your weakest areas to give yourself a real tailwind :)
All the best,
Matt ( a soon to be less novitiate HTML/CSS coder )

Wow. Go for it. It's such a huge learning curve, worth taking the time to study. Same as a Uni. Degree.
