So I wanted to share something I have learned early on in my journey here. When it comes to setting up a niche website one really has to think long and hard about how unique you are going to be able to make your content. You will get a lot of tips about how to search niche keywords and how to drill down into unusual and focused key phrases that may attract visitors but one of the key factors I have struggled with is unique content. You may be interested in a subject and then you go off and research a post you want to write. But how are you going to use that information in your own unique way?Are you really sharing new and unique ideas and giving new and unique help to your audience? If not then Google sees you as a "scraper". Someone who gets their information from another site and changes a few words and reposts it.I have fallen into this trap and need to choose a topic or niche that I can write about that truly comes from my heart not someone else's. And that folks is the real difficulty we are all going to face if we truly want to get ranked .If we cannot find a way to be truly authentic and unique we just become scrapers. Google don't want that. Building a unique niche is not that easy. One would be better off thinking long and hard about writing about a topic or niche that Google finds as unique in their sense of the term.Unique means unmatched, unparalleled or information that stands alone. Not so simple is it.So in order to help us all i suggest we think long and hard about how we are going to choose a niche that will really stand out over the long term. We may be able to write an article or two that Google sees as fresh content. But do we have what it takes to be our true authentic selves over the long term . FIND YOUR TRUE SELF AND COMMUNICATE THAT . If at any stage we run out of ideas and start using information from other sites with a tweak or two Google will pick up on it and we are dead in the water.
