In love with OneNote from Microsoft Office suit. I use this for all my content or any course that I take online. I can quickly take a screen shot and insert into OneNote. A image there can be OCR meaning if there is text from or in a image OneNote will read it to the clipboard.

The searching is amazing as well. OCR which is Optical Character Reconition is used when searching so if a search a word on your screen shot(which is an image) will be found in the search.

The ability to insert documents, generate pdfs, insert audio files, and the list of feature is endless.

Word and Excel marries up with Onenote and Outlook too. One click and the email is imported to a page in OneNote.

Great tool!!

Thanks Chris. I must look into one note. jim

Thank you, Chris, I don't meet many people working with Microsoft. Everyone seems to be on McBooks.

Could you tell me where I find this clipboard? Sometimes I receive a notification that something has been memorized in Clipboard, yet I don't know where it is.

Windows key + shift + S on mine...

Hello Chris, yes I get it and then where does it go?

Paste to email, Word, or OneNote. Hold control+v. You can paste from your clipboard(memory) to anywhere you like. Hope this helps...

Thank you Chris, I understand, just what does this clipboard mean? Or where is it? Sorry, I am not at the level...

We all have to learn, I usually learn the hard way...

The clipboard is just a pc turn for memory storage. It is like a buffer that holds text or images for the sole purpose of placing somewhere you need it. It is tempory when the computer is turn off memory erased. So that is why it is good to paste it somewhere when the computer is shut off your clipboard is turned off.
Keyboard commands control+c for copy, control+v for cut, control+v for paste. These commands are used inside of Word or your email software. If you hover over the icons for copy and paste you will see a reference to these keyboard commands, usually called shortcut keys. Hope this helps...

Should say control+c for copy, control+x for cut, control+v for paste...

This is first class, so many thanks, Chris, for your time and your indulgence. Very appreciated.

Have a wonderful day,
Anne
