Reloaded! A Restart with a Vision

Almost five decades I am on this planet. I was born in bavaria a state in the federal republic of germany in a time where a long big wall divided europe in a western and eastern part in our country. It was the time where atomic rockets and missiles threatens our life - it can be all over tomorrow or in the next hour.

The internet was invented, but yet not for everyone. Just the army, government and universities are connected. As a company named compuserve announced the world wide web for everyone in europe, I was on one of the first presentations and felt in love to this great vision.

At that time I worked in the publishing house of my father. He was an oldschool journalist, doing all the layouts with a pair of scissors and a old manual typewriter. But he let me do even it was very expencive to get computers and printers for purposes. I remember we paid ten thousand DM (about 25 thousand us-dollar) for our first big monitor alone - and it was just black and white, no colors!

As time goes by, several opportunities knocked at the door, and I got involved in network marketing, gambling and the adult biz. Nothing I'm ashamed of, I met great people, had good business and the money earned paid a good living. But it's nothing you can say you are proud of, or you earn respect for. It's not really helpful for the mankind and the line towards scam is pretty close.

It might be the reason I lost interest in that, other real problems happened and so all my business doesn't get the attention it needed too. I'm still earning there and keep the servers running, but I don't wanna do that forever. It has defenitly no vision at all.

Meanwhile the internet changed, social networks become great influence and the smartphones take the message everwhere. But not only phones, allmost everything that is packed with electronic can be connected: Your car, your watch, your lights at home. This is a complete new perspective.

Another thing is, I left my country more than 5 years ago and found a new home in the czech republic. I love the people and the way of life. It's in many thing completly different, as the czech people of my generation grewed up in the eastern part of europe.

All that in resume, I felt the need to reload, to restart all over. And I have a vision, that all things I'm doing now is honourful and helpful for everyone I'm connected with, that my work get to be something meanful, that in ten or more years when I retire I can look back and be contented with what I've done.
