My WA Journey so Far!
Ok ... so where do I start ... hmmnmn ...
Well, this is my first blog post within the WA community. My initial plan was to not create any blog posts in WA until I finished the training. However, when I finished level 3 last week a new version of level 2 came out so I thought I just had to go back and check it out. I have worked through it and on the last day one of the tasks is to make a blog post in WA. As I am of course determined to stick with the programme and finish the training in full, I have changed my initial plans and here I am with WA blog post no. 1!
So far, I have found this journey a whole lot of fun. About six months back I started to get the idea of creating a business online, well I had the idea for some time but started to think about what I could do. I work in I.T. day to day so luckily websites, html, css, etc. were not totally alien to me. However, I hadn't a notion where to begin in the context of a business. Next stop, the library. Now I asked myself later why I went to the library when I have the power of Google at my fingertips lol but what can I say, I like libraries and at least it was a start. I got a couple of books out from about ten years ago lol but they got the whole thing rolling.
A few weeks later, I'm online and ... light bulb moment ... maybe I should search youtube for some videos on this! I did and found Nathaniell's fantastic training series. I watched it all end to end like a greedy kid in a sweet store! I then watched it again but this time implemented the steps. Somewhere in there, I joined WA (late June I think) and then became a premium member. When I had a basic site up and running I then thought it would be useful to do the training in WA too. Although some of it was covered in the initial training I did, I thought it was a good idea to go over it again and also get some other pointers. Definitely a good idea!
I should add here how blessed I feel to have found WA from the start! I realise from some of the stories on here how many people have been ripped off by scam artists that I am very lucky to have found WA from the get go and I'm very grateful for that!
To date, I'm just pleased I have a site up and running that has the potential to make money. My traffic is still quite low, think I had maybe 50 unique visits in the last month and I haven't had any sales yet but I think that's ok for now based on where I am at. The main thing I am proud of is that I took action! I had an idea in my head and I've made it happen. I always get very pleased with myself when I follow through. It's great reinforcement with regards to achieving your goals and the more you do it, the easier it gets I think. Feels great. Oh, my website by the way is:

In the next three months my goals are: 1. Finish level 4 of the training 2. Keep writing better and better content and get more traffic to my site 3. Get that first sale! 4. Achieve $500-1000 per month in sales 5. Build the bones of my next online business idea.
In the next six months my goals are: 1. have second business well established and starting to generate income $500-$1000 per month 2. Get the bones and ideas for a third business together 3. Reach income of $3000 per month on the initial site.
I guess the last thing I want to add on this initial post is just how cool the WA community is. If I can chance my arm, I think this is the business concept / model / community of the future where people work together for the good of all rather than being afraid of one another and thinking only of themselves. If we could learn to do that in other areas of existence e.g. on a geopolitical level, Lord knows what an even more amazing world it could be. My experience in WA to date is a shining example of that ideal and congratulations to everyone for making it so!
I might disappear again now for a bit until I finish level 4 but if I may quote those famous words from dear uncle Arnie .. 'I'll be back!'
