Corel Pro Video Editing

I use Corel Pro 3 for editing Videos and reducing size to allow sharing over social media and mobile networks.
I decided to upgrade to the newer Pro 9 version as there was an offer on the Corel website for a more up to date version. I installed the software on my fairly new laptop and starting working as usual.
Performance was horrible !!!
it took me an hour to do something that normally took me 10 minutes on the old version.
I looked at size of video, length of clip etc and gave up in frustration de-installed it and went back to the old version.
Moral of story - if it aint broke ....
