My Facebook Promotion Experiment!
So yesterday I seen a question written about paying for Facebook Ads to promote your post!
So last night I posted a new post on my Facebook page!
I then created a ad for $1 to go for a day!
I know this isn't much but I wanted to see the amount of organic views as opposed to paid views.
So it's roughly been 12 hours and this is results so far!
Now I only have about 170 like on my Facebook page. But organic reach was 979!
I really don't think that I need to pay for promotions on facebook!

I've ran two Facebook promotions and had no success with either of them sadly, but I'm really only starting to find a way of getting my social media posts right - well better than they were lol
That is a good experiment. When you say you already have lot of traffic, you mean social traffic essentially ?
Yeah social traffic. On analytics I probably have mostly social or referral traffic but get organic hits every now and then. My site is only 7 weeks old so I guess this is expected
