Work on quality or quantity - strategies

Hi guys,

I was just thinking. Is it better to make one complete and professional web site and focus on it or to make lots of web sites at a time.

Working on one web site and focusing on it for a while. I think it might be the way to go but I can be wrong. I'm trying to generate more traffic one one web site and add more content and fine tuning. Once it feels like its complete and in par with the other big cheese out there, I will move on and start a new niche website.

Working on multiple websites. I'm thinking of building numerous basic web sites and work on their content as the ideas flows.

Maybe both works.

Which strategy do you think is better for success?

I agree with JeannineC it is better to start with one website and learn thoroughly the process then build the next one once you are confident of your skills. That is what I intend to do. I want to apply all the things I am learning from training to this first website that I have and then when I have learned enough and confident I will create my next one.

Always go with quality.

Start off by getting one right. You will learn a lot from that process, which will save you from making the same mistakes again on future sites. Once you truly know what you're doing, it's much easier to repeat. I've been in this industry a long time and have seen it done both ways. Believe me, the folks who start with one and make that a success do much better than the ones who try multiples at once.

I haven't gotten to far on my site myself, but one thing I can say to answer your question is quality over quantity. Basically what I would and I will do, is too focus on one website get that one rolling. Then once you get traffic, and your goals met I would possibly start another. Also it all depends on your time too, if you have time to manage more than one site and you can pur out wood quality content go for it. Ultimatly it is up too you I hope this helped.
