You're Late, You Screw Off, You're Fired

Think about that for a minute. If you had a boss monitoring your online business would they keep you?

I have to say that if I had someone watching over my every move while I'm supposedly working on my blogs, I would be fired.

I'll start writing a post then go off onto Facebook for a few minutes, heck sometimes an hour....or more. If you did this at your job what would happen?

You would probably get disciplined...

If it continued...you would get fired.

If you were late to your job everyday, how long would you have that job?

Not very long...

So why do we continue to do this while we're trying to not have a boss?

We simply don't schedule our "work". So let's add some structure to our business and run it a little differently.

Schedule everything, don't be late... and don't screw off.

Blogging Schedule Example

When I started I got all excited and told myself this is so easy, I'll write 3 articles a day and get them done in an hour each.

WRONG..

Here's what I've found..

It takes roughly 3 hours to research a topic, do some keyword research, find relevant images and then write an article. So with the time I have available during the week I'm only going to be able to do one article per day. If I don't take a day off I can do 30 articles a month.

So....here's my blogging schedule template...

I'll be working all 7 days a week until I can quit my job.

Monday through Sunday

I'll be setting an alarm on my phone to go off at each scheduled task end time

6:00 AM - 7:15 AM - Research and note taking on my making money online niche

7:15 AM - 7:30 AM - Break Time

7:30 AM - 8:00 AM - Keyword Research on this topic

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM - Write out my article and hit the publish button, share on social media, clock out for the day...

Sometimes there might be days when this blogging schedule might need to be adjusted.

So.....I'll just leave this here....
