Try Harder or Walk Away

Have you had to make this decision before?

Core beliefs often dictate the answer to this question...whether for good or bad...and are very hard to overcome.

The hardest part is trusting yourself to do what's right for you...

The universe is always giving us signals....almost somewhat gentle nudges.

Sometimes our signal is a big high five........to the face.

Every decision in life requires this decision. Walking away is not giving up it's just letting go...it's putting you on a different road to end up in a different location.

Have you had to make this decision before? How did it turn out for you?

I have had to do this/had it done to me, several times and each time I managed to find some positives in the situation. Even if it was just 'crikey I didn't know I was capable of that'! :)

I have just had to walk and I sign the resignation papers tomorrow....I didn't really walk...I was nudged quite strongly....sometimes the choice is clear, and sometimes not. I am determined to try hard here...yes, a different road and a different end goal!

You can not flog a dead horse as the saying goes, the whole deal is about knowing when the timing is right stay to long and you might cash and burn, walk away and you live to fight another day.

Being hard headed as I am it is hard to walk away. But at times it is the best thing to do.

I see a lot of people walk away, from their dreams and do not understand why they can not stay motivated.

Yes, that makes me scratch my head as well. I seem to think that most people believe if the pain is greater than the pleasure they give up. I'm turning into just the opposite and feel that the more pain I can endure the more pleasure i will receive.

Just my 2 cents..

Very true.

I made the decision to walk away from IT to go after my passion as a writer. So far, I have written my first novel and have more stories on the way. I wake up everyday happy and ready to do a job I love. Definitely was worth walking away :)

That's awesome James!

I've had to walk away from some people who were toxic to my wellbeing and to be honest I've never looked back :)
