My First Blog - immerse myself
Immerse yourself and getting involved.
When I decide to come back to the Wealthy Affiliate training, I knew where to start with my goals and training. I immediately got involved and immersed myself within the community.
I found out that following successful people was a great way to learn and pick up on tips and ideas.
Where to Get Started at Wealthy Affiliate
I was right, the training and networking are paying off for me to improve my websites and my Wealthy Affiliate profile. I want to encourage newbies or someone new here and WA and let them know where to get started.
Lesson 1 Getting Started; Take each lesson as earnest as the next and follow it exactly.
- I follow as many as I can, at the end of each lesson, join the discussion.
- I follow the people there and like almost every comments theyare made.
- I try to respond to everyone that sends a welcome to my profile.
- I'm always on the hunt to follow others and like a comment or a response.
I DID NOT know how to Blog, LOL!!
Since this is my first blog, It's not the first one I've started writing. First of all, I didn't know what a blog was and how to get it started. And I saw that I needed tags. I didn't know.
But, someone I follow wrote a blog about blogging, my answers came quickly.
It really pays off to immerse yourself.

Good post/blog. Like you I didn't know my way around for ages, I would stumble around trying to find things in past lessons.
When someone is proficient in something, they never realize the small easy things that can trip us up, and it's the finding of the words to explain what you don't understand.
Anyhow Carl, you've made a great start with this blog, waiting to find out some more gems from your lifetime.

Hi Carl, I think there really is no such thing as a good blog or a bad blog. That is because we all have different ways of expressing ourselves. Some of us naturally have a lot to say while others hardly have anything to say at all. Your Blog is good because you get to the point of what you are saying and it is very clear to the reader. I have yet to write my first blog and have kept asking myself, "What am I going to write about" Your blog has answered that question for me. I will simply write what comes to my mind and heart like you did. Keep on doing as you are doing! To your success! Jim W.

I'm glad you see it like I discovered. I didn't know at first. But this wasn't my first attempt to write a blog. I got answers without having to ask the question, 'how do I write a blog'.
It finally dawn on me I love to follow others and like what comments they make. So, I encourage all if its something you like talk about it and in our case write about it.
