Google Ads is the top PPC network to use when practicing paid ads and in this class we'll be diving into how to properly use this network, from making your first ad to optimizing your funnel out of the gate. The goal with this class is to help you make optimized ad funnels through this network to help increase the odds that they will lead to profits.

Here are some important terms to understand once your ad starts running:

  • Clicks: Shows you how many times your Google Ad has been clicked on
  • CPC (Cost Per Click): How much you spend on each view (less = better)
  • Max CPC: How much you're willing to bid for each view (less is better). In this class I showed you the manual CPC approach which "caps" the amount you spend for each click.
  • Impressions: The total number of times your ad shows up on Google for one or more keywords/variations of those keywords on Google.
  • CTR: Basically it's impressions divided by clicks (higher = better). Typically this approach I showed you gets a 3% or higher CTR (1% or higher is considered OK).
  • Cost: How much you spent on the ad. You usually want to keep this as low as possible. Typically promoting something in your YouTube video that pays you more than the ad costs is the way to go.
  • Conversions: This means how many sales/conversions you got and I cover this in depth through my other Google Ads series.
