Relying solely on Google to get results can be a hit or a miss, especially when it comes to how an update can come along and turn the tide of your site's success.

This is why it is imperative in today's world of building niche websites to expand them beyond the Google realm and having multiple sources of traffic in case anything ever happens to the site's results in Google.
